Her name is Sarah Ann Emmett born 15 Jan 1856 in St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri to unknown father and Ann Emmett. Sarah Ann was unofficially adopted by the John Ellis and Mary Ann Emmett Ellis family. Mary Ann is Ann's sister. She is buried in Ogden Cemetery 8 Oct 1865 under the name of Sarah Emmett in plot plot :B-1-24-1W. My source for this is
Mic 177957 pg 249 Logan Temple Endowments which states: # 5 Sarah Emmett born 15 Jan 1856 St. Louis, Mo., died 9 Oct 1865, baptized Oct 1873, Name of heir or proxy: Ann Emmett Browning Mother. Ann Emmett left England and on 28 Jul 1855 she landed in New York Port. She proceded to St. Louis where her sister and her husband lived and she had her child.

Thanks for posting the photo. I've never seen a likeness of Mary Ann before, though I'm not sure she'd like to be remembered by this one. She looks rather worried about the possibly explosive nature of new-fangled camera equipment.
